To provide a family-friendly and safe environment for all, effective Friday, September 8, 2023, Roanoke City Public Schools (RCPS) secondary schools will introduce TWO procedures for ticketed athletic events. RCPS middle and high schools will enforce a Clear Bag/Security Screening Procedure along with a No Outside Drinks Procedure in gymnasiums and stadiums.

During the week of Halloween, the community service club picked up litter around SE Roanoke in their costumes.
The grant will be used to enhance the education and independence of students with visual impairments through the purchase of specialized equipment and resources.
