Help the Homeless Fund
The Help the Homeless Fund seeks to prevent families from becoming homeless. Since the fund's inception in March 2016, Roanoke City Public Schools has provided $81,348.33 in support to help 399 families, which has impacted 843 of our students. The funding is used to fill the gaps after all other community resources have been exhausted. Support may include helping with utility payments or rent to prevent evictions.
Monetary and material donations are accepted, which directly support our students and their families. Contact the Communications & Marketing Department at (540) 853-2816 or marketing@rcps.info with any questions or to learn more.
